i prefer chatting online friends online of course.. you can have cheap and long chat, unlike on the phone wherein the SMS character is limited.

I use YM, eversince I started using the internet. I always loves Yahoo a lot, I find it easy to use and I have lot's of friends who use yahoo as well..

I prefer messangers as I am on a budget that restrics my phone calls,I am not a great fan of using the phone anyway.lol

I prefer to talk to friends that live far away on messenger but the ones that are close to me I prefer the phone, normally. For my hubby I have always prefered the phone, you can't tell what they are actually thinking on messenger but on the phone you can a little bit more.

I like both to be honest, but I feel that messenger is quicker and the added bonus is that it is cheaper (being free) too.

I prefere to chat on msn. you have the oportunity to take small breaks, and do other things while chatting. I can chat for much longer on msn than on the phone. It is free. You can read it several times.

I like to chat friends with messenger but sometimes i prefer phone call. It all depends on the distance of communication, if my friend can be reach by local phone call wherein there is no extra charge, i prefer phone. But if long distance, i prefer messenger.
