I am not the worlds best cook but my man love my food and love to eat. My best dish is Meatloaf and the secret with it is when I get the meat and stuff all mixed together I will add one cup of pepsi in it and mixed that in then cook it.

LOL - no - I am totally undomesticated! I am the sort of woman that Marks and Spencers frozen food and microwave ovens were designed for!! When I get home from a long day at wotk, the last thing I want to do is start preparing vegetables and making pastry etc. Abuot the only thing I can cook is a quick pasta with tomato sauce, or a vegetable stew where you just throw everything in a pot and leave it simmering for hours! Sorry I can't help!

I like to bake. When I college, one of the places I worked was in the bakery in the cafeteria. I learned how to make all sorts of yummy desserts. I loved working there because I did not have to clean the pots and pans that I used. :P However, I also married a great lady who cooks and bakes yummy food. So, I do not do baking very much anymore.

Well Melody I am not making any excuses here but my situation is this. My wife's birthday is March 16 and my birthday is March 18. My wife's mother lives about a mile away from us and she always wants to make a cake for us on our birthdays. I am already too big as it is. So I do not need another cake around to tempt me. Otherwise, you know I would bake her a cake in a minute! ;D

I'm an ok cook- I enjoy cooking and grilling out- My daughter prefers alot of my cooking and alot of my sig. others cooking- LOL.... I can make anything- If I haven't made it I will give it a try- Some of my favorite things to make are: homemade soups-(brocolli cheese, ham, chicken noodle) homemade macaroni and cheese-- I'm getting hungry thinking about food-

Nah....by I have fantastic family that even I just fried them some eggs with a bit salt in it, they will still say my fried eggs is the best.....hehehe. My mom on the other hand is fantastic and the best cook ever. Unfortunately I didn't get her talent (bhuhuhu). One of the foods that my husband and daughter love is my omellet for breakfast. I just have couple of eggs and mix it with just almost everything that I have in the fridge. Tuna/ Corned beef/ sausages cut in thin slices, cheese, spinach/ brocolli, onion, small cut paprikas, parsley...basically just a bit of this and that. My daughter doesn't like to eat veggie when she see one, by making this omelete she didn't really see the veggie and voila....she eat her omellete without whining....

Wouldn't say I am fantastic however my family has rarely been hungry due to my doings. I like to have pork chops with apples. Roast a chicken in the oven with vegetables. Use the crockpot alot. Breakfast is always a hit with bacon, cinnamon rolls, pancakes etc. Cut up vegetables and fruits for the young one. That is what they grow best on. Dips also make it more appealing. Good luck though, it can be difficult when they are picky.

I don't like to big note myself, but since you ask, I am considered a very good cook. I guess it is relative though. My step children thnk I am a good cook, because their mother doesn't cook at all. My husbands numerous family members think I am a good cook, as most of them are fairly lousy cooks. My husband thinks I am a great cook. Not only do I cater for his numerous allergies, but I have a big, hot cooked meal ready for him every day, even when he is on shift work.

Hi Melody! I'm not exactly a great cook. And my siblings rate my cooking up and down.~lol And one of our favorite dish, quite easy and healthy too, is my macaroni with milk soup. Just saute the garlic and onions in a nut of butter or olive oil (depends on your preferences). Some pieces of chicken or pork, and you can also add hotdogs. Then let boil but do not put too much water. You can add warm water later if you want it not too thick. Add the uncooked macaroni shells (or any pastas). When they are close to be cook. Add some dice carrots, some dice potatoes, some cabbage. Any vegetable you want. And then when the macaroni shells are at your desired consistency. Add a can of evaporated milk or fresh milk. (or more if you want it more tasty) Dash some salt, pepper and fresh thinly cut green onion leaves. And serve hot. "Bon Appetit!" You can also boil before hand the chicken and flake it. So it will cook more easily/quickly and add the chicken broth instead of only water. It's more tasty. And the other thing my siblings like about it. It's that after lunch time. Around snack time in the afternoon, the macaroni absorbed most to the milk. And it becomes like a white pasta macaroni.~lol Sometimes then even add cheese on top and baked it in the microwave.~lol So definitely, I'm not a great cook.~lol (^^,)

Pasta is a great favourite in my household.I add white sauce with cheese(almost the same as milk, only flour is additional). But I use minced meat,or soya granules(for veg).Adding chicken pieces by making them tender by boiling with garlicis a new combination and sounds great. Your idea of baking them with cheese topping will definitely make it even more srummy.Mmmmmmmm,wow.Thanks sweet heart for sharing your nice recipe.Later maybe you could tell me how to prepare macaroni too.I use the readymade ones.:-)

I am not a very good cook at all. I do just enough to get by. I can follow recipes, but I am not creative at all and if I mess something up then it is pretty much ruined because I have a hard time fixing it. I even know all the tricks to fixing mistakes but I often just make it worse. I make good marinades for meats that my husband cooks on the grill. That is my contribution.

For any grilled food, marinade is the only and most important taste enhancer. So you do a good job,I would say.:-) At least you know how to fix it,when I ruin it it ends up in the trash can.Lol.
