anybody use napkins or tampoons?which do you feel comfortable

I have always used the napkins. I have never tried using a tampoon, they just look uncomfortable.

I can't use tampons at all, I find them extremely painful to use. I just use the napkins. You are not alone in finding tampons uncomfortable.

i prefer to use both. at the very begining i will use a tampon, because it is more comfortable bein that it is heavier then. but towards the end i will do a pad.

I prefer tampons, if you insert them correctly you shouldn't be able to feel them. I remember when I first tried tham I was doing something wrong because it felt soo odd, but I kept trying and finally figured it out =) Just practice, can you ask your mom or doctor?? I was way too embarassed to ask for help so I jusr read the directions that come in the box with them and finally got it. They are much cleaner to me, and you don't have to walk around with a little pillow between your legs =)

I use neither. I use a re-usable menstrual cup, called a mooncup. it's fantastic. comfier, more convenient, healthier, better for the environment and more economical. some people even find they reduce period pain. www.mooncup.co.uk

I was uncomfortable with tampons until after I had my second child. Now I always use them. I never heard of the product mentioned in the first post.
