What is one ambition you would like to do in life?

This is NOT about a goal...as that usually means some targeted goal in your life situation, like earning more money, better health, etc. Nope...this is completely different in what I'm asking. Is maybe a secret ambition of yours to climb a mountain? Bungee jump (at least once) Go parachuting? Sail a boat? Mine ---- I would love to learn how to fly a plane...and not just a small single engine Piper or Cessna..I would love to advance to jet stage as in the smaller Lear Jets...yup...that's my thing...I want to learn how to fly my own plane..Now let me see I do already now the difference between an altimeter and turn coordinator...Hehehe

My ambition is to carry out the dream my dad had of traveling across Canada on one of the old steam trains. He wanted to take the Amtrak from California up to Canada, the steam train across Canada, Amtrak again down the eastern coast, and then meet my brother, and the two of them drive back across the states to California. My dad passed away before he could make that dream come true, so one of these days, I would like to do it for him.

While climbing Mount Everest is something I've dreamt about, my ambition would be to get married and raise, happy, healthy, and loving children. Problem is, I don't have any desire to get married right now! : )

What kind of wedding would you like--I always kind of fancied a wonderful outdoor kind of setting, maybe during one of fall months--surrounded by some kind of wooded area and have all the beautiful colors of fall all around me

wow. keep us updated if one day, you will be able to really fly one. who knows, right? there are things we thought which are impossible and one day, we'll be able to get it somehow. and say... nothing is impossible! haha. mine is a silly ambition and i guess it's not just an ambition for me now since i am gonna go put it to life soon. i was raised in a poor family back then. and shallow as i may sound, i only see snow in films (i am from the philippines, no winter here). since then, i always wonder how it is to experience winter. from when i was a kid up to those years when i finished college, my ambition was to experience how it is to really step on snow. there were times when my friends ask me about my ambition in life. i always answer them with "i wanna see snow and experience winter." they laugh at me and say how foolish my ambition is. well, i admit it's stup*d and i just laugh at myself, too somehow. i never thought about it anymore. but unexpectedly, i met my boyfriend who lives in sweden almost two years ago. and on june 28, i will be migrating to be with him. not only will i experience winter... good thing is that, i will experience winter with the man i love the most. so, now, i guess i need to think of another ambition... it might come true again - one day. happy myLotting!

thank you for being nice and not thinking of me as a silly dreamer. hehe. and yup. i am glad that i will be able to finally experience it. i am not sure if i will really like it or not. for as long as i am with my boyfriend, i'd be happy. and hmmm. since you are dreaming of becoming a pilot of a plane.. i wanna be a captain of a ship then. hehe. kidding. anyway, i wanna try skiing! hehhe. well, since i'll be able to experience snow, why not try to ski. gonna update you about it later! take care.. anne

I would like to sail a boat on the ocean. Yeah, fat chance...lol. I don't think I could handle the motion of the ocean anymore...so it will remain a dream for me. I might get serious about it eventually.

I'd like to sail too...I guess as far as the motion is concerned I guess it will depend on the size of the ship....if you're concerned about motion I don't think a little dingy would do...or a canoe! LOL

I have always wanted to drive a stockcar! Not to brag, but i'm pretty sure i would have some trophies to show for it! It's just like driving in rushhour except there are no traffic lights or stop signs right? LOL! Pedal to the metal, full speed ahead! Lets have a race Pyewacket! Take care!

Well you can race in your stockcar and I'll race my Lear Jet!! I kind of regret that they took the Concorde off the market..I thought that was such a beautiful plane--could never understand the concept though of the flights to England and France and America though--seems it would have been more logical to have used that plane for really long flights, like from America to say New Zealand or Japan

Well I guess I'm quite lucky as most of my dreams when I was younger were travel related, and I have fulfilled most of thsse - stuff like travelling across Russia on the Trans Siberian railway for example. I guess I would like to climb Everest one day though! A friend of mine actually achieved that dream on her 50th birthday - it was something she has always wanted to do, and finally managed it - so maybe I will one day too!

I would love to fly the Eurofighter. I have the simulator and am like totally hooked to it doing combat missions and all. I would love to fly the real thing over some icebergs or something and see the Northern lights from that altitude or play daredevil by flying close to the water surface and swerving just in the nick of time to avoid an iceberg

When me and my husband get older we want to own our own motor home and travel around the us. We want to stay a little bit of time at every state just for a week or so and have a good time. My mother-in-law travels all the time and so there for me and my husband fit just right for this. We love the traveling but with 4 children and work it's a little hard to do any thing like this. Must it's a want that we have and a dream of ours. As to your airplain flying i think that my 5 year old son would love to help you out with this. He loves to fly. Infact for his birthday his poppy (my father-in-law) took him up in a small plain here at our local airport. It only cost $10 per ride so he goes all the time. He has the same dream that you have and i want him to catch that dream and hold on. I hate hights but if he loves them then that's great. He said that it was so much fun seeing the houses upside down that i wanted to cry as he was telling me. It made me so happy just to see his face so lit up like it was. He's due to go again. He goes flying every few months.

Well my secret ambition is to become a mother...although that's not really a secret. You might consider that a goal though... There really are several things I would like to do... I want to learn how to ride a horse (and hopefully own one one day too). I also - as strange as it may sound - would love to learn to skateboard. And I mean tricks and things on a half-pipe. I would love to have my own half-pipe.
