Public Radio Talent Quest - No Round 2 for me...

This is a post to update those special and in the know people that are interested in how my entry into this contest went... It appears I'm not moving on into the next round, as I look at the people selected I'm thinking this might not be the kind of event that I want to be involved with. There are people in our world that wish to make life hard for other people and I see certain patterns that have emerged, like choosing who will be my friend and who I should steer away from, I have this intuition that something is a miss... Just like here at MyLot there is an element that works against certain individuals to cut them in emotional ways, such as driving down a star rating. I know that I'm persecuted based upon my opinions in opposition to something that I see as wrong. My writing was good I just tell the truth about a situation and some people eager to negate other people jump all over the negative button to drive my star rating into the ground. Ah' such is life... Either that or one of the IT guys crosswired my + and - switches... LOL?

Hey look at the bright side. When I see your rating compared to mine it ellivates my mood. Just think your are helping the elderly. A piece of advice, if you see someone with an arm that is brown up to the shoulder and they are hitch hiking, don't stop.

In case you don't understand the gravity of the sit uation, It means the mans camel broke down and he has been unsuccessfully trying to fix the engine.

Hey, I'm always looking at the bright side, and tryig to shine that light onto the culprits of corruption. If I could open the pages of the voting community I'll bet there will be common links between the negative people and those buttons that get pushed.

I'm trying to get around, do you blog on other websites? As you see I've been involved in several websites, and try as I might I do try to get around. I also like to visit Leccanis and others and after a 10 or 11 hour day of work I do get tired and need to find some time for sleep. I've been very busy. Be patient...

Perhaps it is the computer switches itself get confused. lol. As long as we know what is happening and is aware of what is happening, people can do what they want without affecting us much. This is because we are in control. There is always a second time. Try again next time with the feedback you got :P

Thanks whyaskq, My hope was to use the contest as a platform for our constitutional rights, the most interesting things in life... I could do a show, to rival the likes of those Radio Star Hosts the likes of Howard Stern and Neal Conan or Marty Moss-Coane... I'd love to have an audience with Dr. James Dobson... I have a story... More like a Movie...

Well the good thing about hitting bottom is there can only be an up. I knwo of a few people on here than have excellent topics and state their opinions very clearly but have crappy ratings so dont let it get you down. As far as the public radio contest goes I am sorry you didnt make it. It sounds as if you arent really sure if you wanted to I hope thats the truth and you arent just covering your feelings. I think if you really want something you have to push on no matter what failures we may come accross. If we stay determined than we can make our goals and there is always more than one way to achieve a goal. So if you are still interested and its really something you want keep looking and stay positive and it will happen.

Thank You Evan, I would like to give my idea a try, my show a platform of my own design. The problem with the quest was the way they choose the group of ten obviously an agenda at work. I'd elaborate more about this subject if there is enough interest. You would have to look a little deeper and listen closely to understand the prejudice that exists. Blessings, Sincerely, Gary
