help with troubleshooting ignition problems on 1994 odls cutlass sup.

I parked the car it was running fine when i went to to start it 5 min. later nothing. I cleaned and tightened the battery post even replaced ignition switch.still nothing. The security light is flashing.but wehn you turn the key the amp. gauge drops. can anyone help.
