Big difference between western and eastern people

Western and eastern people really have big difference in between including ways of thinking, behavior in daily life, work and entertainment, perspectives of the world, future and culture and tasks they were given.
I am working in a joint venture and fould it rather difficult for them to understand each other.

well,yes,people from different countries and different culture would easily misunderstand each other.we have different way of talking,sometimes i think it's a taboo in China,but people from west don't think like that,they think it's quite normal to talk about it.so what we need most is communication,explain what's work for you and what's not.and i think it's better to have a knowledge of other country,where your friends come from,and things will be easier.
