A midwife sounds like a wonderful career, especially these days when so many people want to go natural like that. Goos for you.

At present I'm a 'stay at home Mum'. I've always wanted to own my own business, but here if we haven't got money to invest we can't set up one easily. It's really difficult for me because my partner goes to work full time, so I need to find part-time work because I want to work while my son's at school so that I can make enough money to set up the business for myself. I've tried internet based businesses, but most of them go down the pan quickly or don't make enough money. I'd really like to set up my own cafe/restaurant for families because there aren't enough of those around where I live and too many children have no-where to go.

Yes I have found that most internet business are a scam or just don't do well. There are some websited that people discuss and share work at home jobs. i know of a few jobs where you can work at home like liveops.com. you can look at workplacelikehome.com I think that is the link and people will tell you which places to stay away from. That way, you can work at home plus save for your own business :)Sorry it took me so long to reply. I really didnt mean to be rude.

i am a stay at home mom right now, but i want to do something where i won't have bosses on my butt all the time, i've never really had something i ultimately wanted to do! but i'm going to school for business management, and i just finished medical claims and billing! so maybe i can run my own medical claims and billing bus. also my husband does heating and a/c he's been doing it for 7 yrs. so maybe once he learns service we can start our own business! also i think once i'm done with school i'd like to be and insurance claims adjuster sometimes they can work from inside their home and they make good money for having a kick back job! (my dad does it) sorry about rambling on i have big dreams!

Ramble away my friend :) It sounds like you and hubby are on the right track. There are lots of jobs to be researched online. Sdly there are so many scams, but wahm amd workplacelikehome.com have member discussions about companies at home and what not and show openings ect. I'm not endorsing these sites in any way, just trying to be helpful.

I work for a call center part time and then come home and watch my children . My dream job would be getting into photography though . I love taking pictures and I love working with pictures but have no idea how one goes about getting into something like this and don't really have the money or time to try something new at this time . Maybe someday I will be able to do it .

my friend worked for this small photography place! it was a private owned company and all she needed was her own camera and a portfolio! her company set her up with weddings, big parties and stuff like that she would make about 1000 dollars a party, but some of course had to go to the company, so she's thinking of starting her own business, just getting a permit and renting out a green room or making one inside her home and promoting her business, it's actually really easy!

That was not an answer that makes sense. If you have no ambitions, than you should have not posted, therefore you get a negative rating.

in my case, it's a bit odd, a stay-at-home-working-mom. wanted to have a work that would not take me away with my kids but would also earn some income.
