Spurs or Cavs?

I'm not much of a basketball fan. But I will say that this year might have an interesting final. Our Texas, the Spurs have done very well and look like a team bound for greatness. But James is an amazing player who I think is on the verge of greatness and will continue to grow as a player. I am still amazed that he was a person who beat the odds.Who knew that he would come out of high school and do so well. Who will win and how many games will it take?

Lebron James is a great player, maybe the greatest player right now in the NBA. He gets his teamates involved not as much as Steve Nash, but maybe Andre Miller- like. He also make rediculous shots especially in the clutch like Kobe, but unlike Kobe, James is a class act. I would really like to see him and the Cavs pull of an upset but it just won't happen. The Spurs defense led by Bruce Bowen and Tim Duncan will shut down James. Bruce Bowen alone can shut down most players in the NBA alone. Then San Antonio has a trio of offensive weapons in Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobli. I am going to call no upset as the Spurs take it in 5 games.

You make excellent points. I agree that James is a great, possibly once in a lifetime type of player. But one man of a team can not sustain the whole team in the clutch or the season. The Rockets pinned so much of their hopes on T-Mac this year, but he couldnt do it all himself. I think the experience of the Spurs team will be the key. The Cavs are the "cinderella" team. The had a great year and hopefully this will be an experience for them to learn from and grow.

I think Spurs will win the champion, but Cavs also have chance to reach the top, they are full of energy, especially James,he performed very well before the final, maybe he will continue his magic performances, and give us a surprise.I am looking forward to that.

I think James is the key. If he does well, the Cavs may win.But it is hard to pin the hopes of a team one one person. His girlfriend may be having another baby during the same time. He says he will play but I wonder if that will distract him.

I am a playoff basketball fan. I like the Bulls but do not follow them closely during the regular season. When they played Detroit I was rooting for the Bulls and I thought they might do it but then they fell apart. I really thought that Detroit would beat the Cavs but the Cavs are hungry for a championship. I think that Lebron James has had some great coaching to be able to play like he is. With the enthusiasm of the Cavs I think that the Spurs will have a challenge. It is hard to say until they play their first game who is going to win.

If the Rockets had won, I would be watching. Even though I should support our state team which has several championships I'm not that interested. I really feel on the fence. Of course most of us here in Houston are wondering what next year will be like. We cam close but Yao and T-Mac cant do it alone. Hopefully the new coach will be able to make things work better.
