Do you wish you had been older before you started your family?

We didn't have a choice in the matter. And, although my husband and I wanted to have a baby for ten years, it just didn't work out. Now we have a beautiful daughter and we couldn't be happier.
But, I always wondered if things would have been easier if we had been able to have children while I was younger.
Maybe I would have had more energy? Or, maybe my body would have weathered the pregnancy better?
Do you feel you started your family at the right time? Would you have done it sooner? Or, do you wish you had waited to have children until you got older?

Great Question! I feel that I started my family at just the right time. I was 19 yrs old when I got pregnant for Trenton. I was 20 when I had him. I was 20 when I got Pregnant with Carter and still 21 when I had him. We want more children. We have been trying for one yr this month for another child. It makes me sad that we cant get pregnant as quick as we could before. Is this the end for me? I hope not. Im glad I started earky becuase maby if I did wait until I was older....what if I couldnt have my 2 beautiful children that I have now. SOmetimes I do wish that I would have went to college, but not before i had kids. Maby after I had Trenton or even now. BUT I dont havee the time or the $$$$..so that is out of the question for now!

I was going 25 when i had our daughter & i think it was a good time, i didn't want to leave it too late coz i hated the idea of being an older parent - not being as young & active/energetic to keep up with them & also the risks there are with having kids later in life.
I kind of wish i'd had our daughter a year or so earlier but it doesn't really matter, she's just gone 1 & i'll be 26 in just under 2 months so things have worked out ok.
Some people like the idea of a career before they have a family so it's a personal thing - just as long as the older parents know the risks that come with being pregnant at an older age :)

I was fortunate and glad to have my first child at the age of 24. Now my son is 25 years old and I still feel energetic and young. We become the best of pals and can communicate anything under the sun. It could not have been easier if I had been older.
