My BF couldn't get enough...I bought a whole, small chicken, rubbed salt, pepper and garlic on it then browned it on all sides in the skillet with butter and basil oil. Once the chicken was browned, I put it in the Crock Pot on High for 5-6 hrs. A little more than part way thru, I added more garlic and sliced red onion. When it was all done, the meat was tender, juicy and falling off the bone. Its called Roasted Crock Pot Chicken. We loved it...try it out.

It really was simple...I cooked a beautiful meal, and I barely did anything. WIth the chicken I served green beans, rice and sliced, fresh bread. Best of luck to you and cooking!

Thanks for your response I think you will love the chicken. I did not add any water, the chicken made its own juices while cooking. Enjoy!
