Wild Animals as Pets

Has anyone ever adopted or nursed a wile animal? We've "adopted" a duck, a few snakes, a few small birds but didn't actually keep any of them. When I was young my neighbors had two wild foxes penned up in their back yard and my grade 7 teacher had a pet skunk for a few years.

i had a friend who had a peekock and 2 skunk pets. one had had the surgery to take their spray stuff out and the other didn't. but he never sprayed anyone.
