Earnings?

How long is it before you see earnings into your account? I've been here for three days and I've gotten 2 cents. I know Rome wasn't built in a day, but I'm just curious if it takes a couple days for them to catch up.

My first day, I earned eight cents. But, the next day I was up to almost one dollar. It just depends on how many posts you make during a days time. I noticed that you only have 16 posts to your credit. It's not surprising that you don't have a lot of money in your account yet. Your earnings will really kick in, when you start posting at least 25 discussions daily. And, comment on other people's posts too. I usually aim for 50 discussions/replies daily. But, that's tough for most people. Just try different things out. And, see what works for you. That's what I did. Best of luck with future posting on My Lot.

If I may add to your response. You say that it depends on how many posts you make in a days time. Well partly so, but it really depends on if those posts were quality posts. If you did 50 one word or one line responses, you would probably earn a lot less than someone who only did 20 good quality responses. Now if you are doing 50 good quality posts than a big congrats to you.

I barely make discussions and I usually get 40-50 cents a day. You pretty much have to make interesting discussions for other's to reply - or reply to other's discussions. It's suggested that one replies to topics that interest you so the words just come easy and you won't have to struggle to get a couple of lines in. If you do one-line replies, you aren't going to make as much money. Good luck! =)

As far as I know, the earnings are updated once a day but I am sure that if you have a post that really takes off you will earn a little extra from it and that will get added when the system updates.

Earnings are updated every 24 hours. So anything you did today, you won't see the earnings for them for at least 11 more hours. If you look over at the left hand column where it shows you your earnings. It should say something like "earnings updated 13 hours ago".
