What do you think of boxing?

How do you feel about boxing as a sport? My boyfriend loves it, in fact he's watching it right now. I can't stand it. Two people beating the crap out of each other does not seem like a sport, certainly not anything I could enjoy to watch.
Do you like to watch boxing, or you do you not like it? How do you feel about people hitting each other for sport?

Better to have a boyfriend having this martial art, we cannot come near to you, before that he will hit us.

i'm taking muat thai, which is thai kickboxing, and its actually fun! i have no qualms about boxing, although some people may think that its violent. but like any sport, people get hurt, although i think they are perfectly aware of what they're getting into. ;)

I'm not for it either. I don't see the appeal in hitting one another unconscious or even on occasion to kill. I think it's barbaric.
But men tend to be a bit barbaric in nature so that might be why they tend to like it a bit more than woman. Or at least most woman I know :)

I rarely watch boxing and when I do it's because my husband is watching it. Its very brutal and not something I would ever do in my lifetime.
