da vinci Code: Fiction or Fact?

Many of us speculated that da vinci code would might be true. A novel all about the Holy Grail and the questionable bachelorhood of Jesus Christ. it is wherein the main characters of the story are the Masons. They gather clues leading the truth about the Holy Grail. Well personally, I think that this novel is full of rubbish. It is just a fiction, testing our faith on how much we believe in Christ. I admit that this novel succeeded in brainwahing Catholics with a weak faith. I know that man made the bible. But God's myteries will not fit in a small human brain.

It's fiction. Nobody with a little knowledge of history could take it as serious fact. The novel uses a series of independent real events and places and mixes them into a highly commercial blend, that pretends to be a sensational discovery. And those sceptics who are sceptics for the same reasons as many Christians are Christians -because of ignorance-, can celebrate this new confirmation of ... what? I should already know better, but it astonishes me again and again how pert ignorance can be.

I haven't read the Da Vanci Code or seen the movie and I don't plan on it. I think it's rubbish as well. I don't know about brainwashing, but it certainly could put that little bit of doubt in a person's mind.

I've read the book, and I don't think it is possible to seperate fact from fiction. Remember that for a number of centuries that the bible was not allowed to be read by ordinary people, so it is possible that during that time that it was suitably and subtley altered by the Catholic Church to suit its own ends and further its doctrine. The Night's Templar were guardians of the Catholic Church for several hundred years until the suddenly became excomunicated and hunted down by the church, and almost all members were killed, there were a few believed to have escaped.

I guess I just took it as the fiction it was and never really entertained any kind of thought as if it were real. God's Word is truth. You contradict it and you know you are no longer in the truth. Pretty simple to me.
