Are my parents going deaf or do I just mumble?

My parents always tell me that I mumble but I always think that I'm talking normally.I know my dad has had some hearing loss.I forget sometimes how soft my voice is I guess.

Maybe your parents are losing their hearing a little.. I know my dad definitely is I think.. it's a bit scary. Sometimes he's in the living and I'm some feet away in the kitchen, I'll call out for him and he doesn't bat an eye. Sometimes I have to go over to him and tap him. It's concerning. It's so odd to see your parents getting older..and ourselves, sometimes I really wish I could turn back the clock.
