I'm curious. I've been seeing stars over one's user name in myLot. Could anyone tell me how one gets it? What is its meaning? I feel like these people with stars in their names are sort of, honor pupils in a classroom, or deserving students. Are they the top myLotters. I also observed that the stars have numbers on them, and these have different colors, too. Does this indicate that they have already received something in myLot? Is this a status symbol?

hi! the star is a mylot rating. it tells about your mylot reputation. it shows how other mylot users rate the quality of your posts (the number inside the bracket)--- the discussions you started and your responses to others' discussions.
the star is from 0 to 10 with 10 being the highest. once a mylot user reaches 100 points, he/she earns a star and it's equivalent percentage. as you are currently at 55 posts, you need 45 more to have a star. goodluck on that! just keep doing quality posts for a higher star rating. :)

Oh, thanks a lot. I really hope to reach a hundred posts before the week ends and hopefully, gain the $10 target by month end. Thanks for providing me additional info regarding my current posts at 55. This is also one of my queries and I thought this was a counter on the last or latest myLotter who joined in here. The stars represent te quality of discussions you put in.There are many peoples who have more than thousands of discussions or responses but star values much lower than someone who has put less than 500 discussions.It represent the quality and importance of your responses and discussions.A star of 9 if you get in by having about 500 responses or discussions,you are doing extremely good job.I dont know if it will help increasing your earning in mylot...

Ok. So, essential content of your replies really does pay off in here. I feel motivated even more to spend more time in myLot. Currently, I'm just able to segregate about one hour; more or less, in a day. It's really hard for me to keep online, because I work outside of my home, I'm married with one daughter. But I'll try to type faster, respond more to discussions, and be online in these coming days. Guess I have to arrange / organize my schedule. Thanks.

The stars are the rating system for mylot. The go from 1 to 10. You will get your star when you have made 100 responses to other peoples discussions. Good luck.

I don't know if I just overlooked this feature in myLot. Thanks so much for your response. I really appreciate it. More than ever, I feel enthusiastic to reach the target replies (to others' discussions) of 100. Thanks again.
