Motorcycle diaries is a film directed by Director Walter Salles about a well known communist of our time Che Guevarra and his eight month journey towards self discovery. As a film professor all i can say is that this film moved me in a way that when I go out of the movi house I felt all the rage and concern the character felt to his countrymen and co-latinos. what I like most about this film is that we as a viewer are presented a different kind of autobiography, where characters ventured and go out of their comfort zone to be shaped to a person they never thought they can be.

Haven't seen the film yet. Do you know where I can get it? I've never heard of it. Is it available online? I see this person Che Guevarra everywhere: in T-shirts, pin buttons, caps, stickers etc. etc. I studied in UP Diliman and as everybody knows, we have lots of student activists here and they kinda worship this person. I'd like to know more of him and I think this movie would help :)
