Bob Barker is retiring next week. 35 years on TV

I really liked to watch his other show. "Truth or Consecrences". The Price is Right is good too. I like to play The Price is Right Slot Machine at the casino.

I have seen it from time to time but I was never a regular viewer.

Have you ever heard Dane Cook comment about "The Price Is Right"? He's a comedian and he comments that no matter what.. it is a LAW that when you call in sick from work you MUST watch the price is right! LOL It's the truth... even those of us with cable or dish tend to stop on that channel if we see it on! I personally will miss him. I do think he made the show. I'm not sure how any of us will react to the next person but I have a feeling that person will kind of be like the fall guy for the people and be totally unaccepted and then replaced by someone else after we've all gotten over the shock of a new face on the program. According to Barker there are other changes going on in the show too so it should be interesting to see.

I will be 50 and I can remember watching this show when it started in 1972, wow that is a very long time and Bob Barker has been around even before the TV was invented. LOL He deserves a break now and should enjoy his retirement and the rest of his life. Best of luck to you Mr. Bob Barker!

Certainly a sign of a good performer. Many will miss Bob Barker when he leaves for good. I remember him from my childhood, and my mom actually went to one of his shows in California.
