As of 5:00pm. tonite I will be on Mylot for 24 hours, I am experimenting just to see how I will do, I won't be here without doing the normal eating and so forth. But I am curious about this. This will tell the story of how muxh you can make in 24 hours, It will be like a marathon. I think that should have a contest about this one. see who can stay on for 24 hrs. and then give a prize for the ones who did the most posting. What do you think? If you have time I think it would be fun. thanks Marcie

i am just concerned of your health marciascott. at your age staying in front of the computer for 24 hours will give you more detrimental effects than beneficial ones. what do you get ater all? more points? more earnings? yet your health deteriorates! we are not getting any younger. please consider your well-being. i don't want to see you suffering from arthritis, backpains, headaches, stomach ulcers, so on and so forth.

Hello, marciascott,it will be very interesting to have a mylot marathon, and the one with the most replies will be awarded, but it is hard to judge as different members replies with different lengths,so it may be better to compare the earning, the one with higher earning in 24 hours will win,the earning will not include those from the referrals so that earnings of different members can be compared.

Anna it was just a thought. I have been thinking about doing it one day. I half to go to work, I will be at work at that time. Have a good day!

Why would you do that! I asked myLot is there had a cut off time for calculating your earnings and they said it is at 11PM Central time. So that means anything you earn in 24 hours would be calculated from 11:01PM until 11PM the next day and that would not show up the next day but until the day after that. I would not think of going without sleep and sitting in one position for 24 hour just to prove a point. IMO myLot does not pay enough for any (sane) person to put themselves through that.

OMG I think the posts would start to blend together after so many hours and your fingers would be so sore from all the typing . It would be interesting to see how well you do though , how much money you make and how many posts you can answer to in that length of time . Although I do agree that it would be interesing , I wouldn't be able to do this at all as I would never be able to go 24 hours straight and then still stay up another how many hours with my little's ones the next day . Good luck to you !!

Best wishes to you. I am on and off usually 16 hours a day. Shhhh, don't tell anyone that I log in while I am work. And answer discussions whenever I get a chance, just as I am doing at this moment. I've been on a little over a month. And I think the method of making more is, by posting quality discussions, that get responses. The more responses you receive the better the pay. I could be wrong, but that is what conclusion that I have came too.

You are about right. answer quality questions. and answer other topics instead of your own. I just like to answer my own discussions, just out of courtesty.

Well, good luck! LOL I'm thinking you're definitely crazy but hey... may as well get paid at least something to be crazy right?!!!! I'm anxious to see how much you make by staying on and active for that long. I'm sure it's not an astounding amount but I would hope it will give you at least a little boost in pay! Good luck! And have fun!!!!!!

Is that 24 hours straight on constantly being on myLot?? If so, how did you do it?? Are you on medication that is not making you sleepy or do you not have any work and you are looking towards myLot to pay your next house mortgage??

I know that I couldn't do it. The frustration of the ridiculous posts get to me after 1 hour never mind 24. I'd end up gnawing off my own arm which would really cut down on my typing speed and therefore inhibit the number of posts that I could actually do in that time making it not worth my while.....LLAMA

You may not have been crazy when you started but you will be a little strung out when you stop. I hope the prize is worth it and is for more than just bragging rights. May I ask what exactly is this prize. OMG look what I am doing I am encouraging you to continue by posting. OK I'm done enabling!

Lol, I think you're CRAZY woman!! CRAZY!! I have managed about 12 hours sitting one weekend when my kids were sleeping at a friends place. My partner was on a film shoot and I was home alone with nothing better to do. I ended up making around $3. I also know that afterwards my eyes hurt like hell LOL. If you do decide to go ahead with this, please do post your results. I think it would be very interesting and you know, if it was a weekend and my kids are sleeping out, it would be something I'd also be interested in trying :o) Heck, you only live once right? :P

I don't think you are crazy. Your idea is really cool. Wish I had thought to try something like that. But it would be impossible for me because I have kids to take care of. So I would have to get some sleep to be able to deal with my kids. But I have thought of trying to do mylot for a full 8 hours straight, like a reg. job, to see if it made a difference. Please keep us all posted on your earnings and such. Would be interesting to know. Also a mylot marathon I think would be a really cool contest. Best of luck!
