anxiety

What do you do when you are depressed? This morning, I was depressed. Please give me some tips to fight my anxiety.

First of all, welcome to myLot. I have really, really bad anxiety issues. I get restless, I feel hopeless, and a multitude of other things. They're so bad sometimes, that I get physically sick and vomit. I'm not on medication, but I do know that I should be. I pray all of the time, I try to tell myself that things will be okay. I close my eyes and try to visualize all possible scenarios, and what I would do in each of them. That helps a bit.

Deep breath is the best way to keep away from anxiety.When i feel nurvous or anxiety i will take a few deep breath in order to clear and refresh my brain.It works for me ,may be you might want try it see if it works for you..:) Good luck!

Thank you very much for tip. I will try that when I had another bout of depression. But I am afraid that taking a deep breath will be insufficient to counter my anxiety, because that i think that my depression is now so deep. Maybe I go find a psychiatrist or undergo a therapy. Thank you for your help. This is deeply appreciated ;)

it would be easier if you know what caused your depression or your anxiety.. nonetheless, i believe that the best way to fight your depression and/or anxiety is to pray and ask God for His guidance; talk to a friend, someone whom you really trust, and tell your friend how you feel. it helps a lot to express how you feel. i hope you feel better soon. =)

I know the cause of my anxiety at this moment...and I also know the triggers of my anxiety. Sad thing for me is that I am a loner, (my friend, the ones I really trusts were all far away from me). For now I feel better, but I konw that this feeling is lingering inside of me. Thanks for your comment. :)
