Where can you get the best deal on phone cards? Hubby said he picked up a phone card with 550 minutes, for $28. No fee's. Just wondering if anyone knew of a better deal out there? I saw cheaper ones but they have 50 cent fee's for everything so it added up and wasn't worth it. thanks!

Are we talking cell phone or home line here. I don't have long distance on my phone. I use a calling card. I use goldline.net calling cards.

I found the best deal to be at Sam's Club. If you're not a member of a wholesale club try a Dollar General if there's one in your area.

I don't think I've seen very many good deals. I bought a 75 minute phone card for $4.50 at my closest Walmart. I try not to call long distance much, so that will meet my needs for a while.

have you heard of USA datanet? they have 2 plans in one you pay 4.9 cents a minute, in the other you pay a flat rate of 99cents per call (great if your long distance calls tend to be longer than 20 minutes) you are given an access code and security number - with these you can call from anywhere and get the same rate...it simply gets charged to your home phone, no service fees involved. I love this! when our son was away at boarding school in another state he was able to call home when he wished! when he was in the hospital 3 hours from home, he could call me every night with no bothersome long distance fees. they also offer an 800 number, my parents got this in addition to the regular plan so that my brother (brain injured) can call home and also his children can call them whenever they *need* to talk.

I've been using Onesuite.com phone cards for a couple of years now. Rates are 2.5cents per minute calling U.S. and 1.9cents for Canada. I must admit its not the cheapest rate out there but with 24/7 live customer support and online access its the best bang for the buck service for me when it comes to making phone calls.

Do you have an American Legion near you? Our American Legion sent my brother his first phone card for free-- Might have to be overseas fighting in a war though- Not sure- Other than that we have gotten them at Sam's Club they seem to be the cheapest- My sis-in-law says that she can get them cheaper through the PX? Is this true in your area also. She is in Kansas-- so she gets them there and sends them into Iraq-
