You gotta hit 100 points before you get a star. The stars your rank on mylot, Its not about hte color, its about hte number, 10 being the highest rank and 1 being the lowest. In order to get a good star you have to work towards getting + ratings, which you can get by making quality responses and discussions. The more better you answer and start posts the more people will + you and the better one will be your star. :) ALl the best!

I asked the same thing. It's a rating thing. You're star will come when you get to 100 posts. Then we will see which one you get. Are you rating discussions as you come to them??? You should. It influences other peoples stars. We rate your discussions or comments, your color changes.

As soon as you complete your 100 postings you will get the star.......and regarding the colour of star even i dont know the criteria for allottment......post as many as you can.......thats what my suggesion

The count of your discussions doesn't matters but the quality of your discussions really matters so be prepared to make your discussions more valuable for others to respond and rank you + for that and add more n more people as your friends but if you chose people of your interest that would help you more to grow fast ............ Its only you who can help yourself. Post many discussions and response to as many as possible to others discussion. Add as many friend as possible and this will push you to get a star. It will not be long before your star appear cos you're now getting 72 points. You need at least 100 points to get star.
