Is cricket really treated as a religion in india? If yes, then why? why do people in india take cricket much seriously? what is the main reason behind it?

well...i must say...cricket has lost its glory in india esp. after the world cup...ppl concentrate on other sports like soccer,tennis... i even hate watchin it dse days

yes i think cricket in india is like religion, but now a days people are not much interested in cricket the TRP of the chanels has reduced, even i hate watching it these days
