Blog Directories

Which blog directories do you use to to list your blog to help get it seen? I'm currently using blogarama.com, bloglinker.com, blogrankings.com, and myblogdirectory.net I'd love to know about any others I could list my blog in because the more listing the better. ~Kythe42 http://lemurianphoenix.blogspot.com

You should submit your blog to blogcatalog.com, technorati.com, mybloglog.com, blogtoplist.com outpost.com, blogflux.com, bloghub.com and buzzerhut.com. My blog is listed in all these directories. My personal favorites are blogcatalog and technorati, its a great community of bloggers around the world. You will definitely see an increase of traffic in your site. aww sorry to hear that.. i wonder why, i can see you are using blogger. hmm maybe you fill it in the wrong category. anyways, mybloglog is a good alternative to blogcatalog.

Hmmm my blog was rejected twice for blogcatalog.com. This is the reason they keep giving me for rejecting it. "The URL you submitted is not a blog, is solely for commercial purposes, or is suspected to be spam." It doesn't make any sense to me. Obviously my blog is a blog. I am promoting stuff on my blog but I have a bunch of posts that also give advice. I don't see how my blog could be considered spam either.

More blog directories are blogdirs, blogdup, bestblog, addurlblog, campaignline, emarketing, findingblog, bloggernity, blogtoplist, blog-directory.org, bestoftheweb, webblogalot, britishblog, topblogarea, blogflux, technorati and blog rankings. Hope you find it useful. I should have really expanded on that. There is a number of directories that you can submit to. Along with the three I listed there is http://www.bloghub.com/ http://www.lsblogs.com/ http://boingboing.net/ http://www.all-blogs.net/ http://www.bloghop.com/

My blog is also at blogger.com. Those other sites I listed are just directories to submit your blog to, but you don't actually make your blog at those sites.

I've created a blog directory. And I have launched it today. But it only caters for Pinoy only right now. Maybe someday it would accept every nationalities. You could check it at http://sikatang.websaytko.com
