what does mode mean andmake a table to show the data
23 Oct 06
"The mode of a set of data is the value in the set that occurs most often." For example, for the set of data (let's say it's scrabble scores) : 11, 6, 9, 11, 12, 26, 23, 9, 11, 12, 22, 11, the most common score (11) is the mode. Here's a cute and easy-to-follow website I found that may help! http://www.mathgoodies.com/lessons/vol8/mode.html As for making a table to show values, I don't know if my method is as in-depth as a 4th grader must go, but if you can describe what may be in the text book (what it looks like) I can tell you where to put the numbers, etc.
