http://money.aol.com/news/articles/_a/ground-beef-recall-expands-on-e-coli/20070604173609990001 When will this stop? All the outbreaks are getting to be ridiculios. Does it worry you at all that beef is being recalled again. Will you go throw away what you have just in case?

If it says that it's in Louisiana I will throw away what I hjave just in case all thes erecalls bother me they need to spop putting so many hormones in these plants so the animals and fruit and veggies won't make people sick and animals sick. Everything shoud be organic.

That just might be the smart way to go.

Much money has went into companies promoting their products as "organic" and convincing consumers that that label makes their product safer. That term usually relates to how the product is raised, but has nothing to do with how the product is handled in processing - where most contamination occurs. It makes you worry about eating anything. Luckily my state isn't one of the ones the beef was shipped to but I am sure that list could grow longer just like it kept doing with the pet food. Its a very scary thing.

I make sure I cook the meat thoroughly so there is no pink showing. Being just light brown gray is not good enough. We will only buy meat that has been inspected. Before we barbeque, we make sure the grills are clean, wash our hands, etc. You have to be sure the temperature is high enough. The places where they grind the beef and the grinders should be kept clean, so if they had surprise inspections, we should not have this problem. And no I am not going to turn into a vegetarian.

That is smart to only buy inspected meat.

This is getting to be really bad, it seems it is unsafe to get anything anymore. Fortunately, I don't have any beef right now.

Right now my boys are in a chicken phase. Chicken tacos, chicken and rice... I will not bore you with details. I heard on the news it was froman Albertsons? Is that right? I do shop there and have bought beef there. If I had some I probably would throw it out to err on the safe side. I guess I better start looking into alternative meals with less meat. It seems more and more problems are occuring. How did people back in the olden days manage?
