How reputation is calculated in mylot?

Can anyone help me by saying how reputation is calculated in myulot? Beside my star its 82/100. it was 81/100 few days back. How this rating cahnges? Is it change when someone gives + or - feedback or it depends on number of responses of discussion started by one? It really surprises me about its parameter. Please help me.

Hiya, Subha.....It is my understnding that the rating is based upon the + or - that other myLotiian's give to your discussions and responses....
It is important that you are rating others discussions and responses as well...It helps keep the community in accord....each of us doing the same way....LOL
I think that it is great that your rating is on the rise....as I am sure you are.....

Hmm I guess I didn't understand the question, I thought she was asking how that number got there. Does it increase one point everytime it goes up? (I am not talking about the number in the star). But anyways I am a firm believer that you should rate as many discussions and responses + as you can, I know I do :-D Rated +. :-)

Yep, the rating that you get really decides how good your reputation is here. So, alot of pluses are good for you.

Dear subha12
Our reputation increases if member rate us with + and it decreases -- if we get - .. There are many jealous members on mylot who used to rate us negative for no reason .. by this our earnings drop a lot .. even there are many other members who do not agree with our post and then rate us negative .. so when we receive + .. then our reputation also increases and when we receive -- - then our reputation decreases here on mylot :)
