How to Stop Puppy having 'accidents'?

My puppy keeps weeing everywhere whenever hegets exited, and he gets exited over EVERYTHING when i walk in the door get food pick him up..........anything.............and last night he chewed a whole roll of toilet paper i was throughout the house! What can i do?

I don't know. Some people say to rub their noses in it, others to just spray vinegar or similar on the spot to stop them from going there again. Ring the local pet shop and ask them. Good luck with it.

You pup is normal. All you need is some patience and persistence. For a start maybe you could crate it up. Whenever he does something not allowed, scold him...(a loud NO should be gd enough)and crate him up. Do not show him any attention even if he whines. Eventually, he shold get the idea "if i do this, i get confined...something i do not like..."

Our dog does the same thing. my friend works in a vets office and she said basically they just have to out grow it. My dog started to do it less once she hit a year old.

Well, for all my pups a combination of positive and negative reinforcement worked, that's basically a carrot and stick aproach- a talking to or light slap on the bum for doing it in the house and lots of petting, praise and maybe a cookie when he manages to go out. He'll soon figure it out- pups are really brilliant that way. Good luck!
