2006-2007 NBA MVP DIRK NOWITZKI: does he deserve the award or not???

the 1st all NBA team was composed of TIM DUNCAN DIRK NOWITZKI STEVE NASH KOBE BRYANT AMARE STOUDAMIRE all from the west side teams of the NBA... i thought Nash will get the MVP award for the 3rd straight year, but he did not. i am a spurs fan,but never i thought that Duncan will get the awrd for the 3rd time. Dallas Mavs was kick out of the playoffs @ the 1st round by the Warriors by a 6 games,4-2. i dont know if dirk really deserves it...
