Hi there! Why don't you buy an external hard disk? You could find that in computer stores. Just ask them if they have an external hard disk, it comes with a usb cable. That is just easy to use because it is a plug and play device. When you have that copy all of your files and then your done.

I don't have only one hard disk attached with my computer's motherboard. I don't have any back-up hard disk. Nowadays people use USB Flash drives as their back up drives instead of big physical hard disks.

So, how do you back-up your files? Do you use USB flash drives? I think if you would back-up your files using USB flash drives it should have a big size so that you could back-up all of the files including programs or softwares installed in your computer.

You better have a back-up. We don't know what might happen to our computers and viruses are everywhere. So be ready!

I use a 120 GB external drive for backing up two ways: Individual folders/files with syncback software, and I use driveimage xml to back up my whole pc. See my blog - computer tech links (In my Mylot profile) where I describe backing up with those 2 programs...
