Get Rid Of June And Other Daft Ideas

No I ain't been at the drugs cabinet again, but I've had a real gutful this week and I am convinced it's because it's JUNE, don't laugh, I haven't lost the plot but
JUNE really is a nasty, bad luck of a month for me, always has been, if anything goes wrong it happens in June, I dread this month every year I think OMG it's coming, it's coming, it's like the blessed antichrist, sorry but it is.
If I ruled the world, I would get rid of June what do you think, rename this month, or get rid of it completely, that would fook up the calendar wouldn't it
So let's pretend it's July can we, or pretend June doesn't exist just smile and nod and maybe the men in white coats will come and collect me!
Please humour me on this discussion. So what would you like to change in this world which is really daft and impossible to do?
Go on think about it, I know you can come up with something

1. DO this it works..
Before June comes in throw salt in every corner of the house, at the windows and in every entrance and say..I ask God and the Universe to disperse all negative energy from my home and person..
2. Say to yourself every day..June is going to be a phenomenal month for me..
3. Tomorrow is going to be better and better..
So I can't sign the petition because I am busy tryiing to make us all healthy and rich lol.

wolfie, I really love your posts. I think if we could elimanate something or change something...I would want open exspense accounts for everyone , give all my friends money and say go on a vacation...we all need a break. I would insist vacations all be at least 10 days...

Well June certainly hasn't been good to me this year so far honey so I can understand what you mean! I absolutely downright refuse to sign a petition to get rid of it though! The kids are still in school til the end of June and I need those extra few weeks and also we always go on holiday the last week of June and we all need that break! lol What would I like to get rid of mmmm - so much you wouldn't believe! I'd love to get rid of insurance companies cos they are all crooks! lol xxxx

I would like to have 2 Sundays each week...LOL
It seems to be the day when all of my children find time during their busy lives to call or come and see me...it is a day that I generally rest after cooking a large evening meal.....
Oh, yeah...the religious sector would love this too....LMAO
For some reason, my month from he!! is now and always has been February....I dread it each year like you do this month....what was it called....Wolfie's Nightmare...yes I think I will change my calendar to read this way...so that I remember to say a special prayer for you each day that is left of this month.....

Hey, before the Christian calendar wasn't it the fact that there was only 10 months in the calendar year? ie September Sept = 7th month, October = Oct is for 8, December is Dec which means 10. So in theory if we got rid of both June and February we would be back to the original calendar again! Problem solved my friend!

Oh Wolfie, Wolfie, I would be very upset if I didn't have June anymore. The flowers are blooming, it's nice and warm, weddings abound, vacations start, and above all, it's my birthday month! You know there's no such thing as luck, you make your own luck. So, if you think the month is going to suck, it will. So, Wolfie my friend, think positive, and trust me, it will be a good one. Concentrate on what you're getting me for my birthday....LOL

Wow that's a long period, May 13th to July 19th? I would want May 18th left out as it's my birthday, and why December? I love December build up to Christmas it's my favourite time of year. Good to hear you'll sign my get rid of June petition (hope you are ok my friend x)

Oh dear .. I guess I didn't write that as well as I might have done .. just the one day May 13th .. and then the one day 19th July .. the rest of May and July are ok ...
But December has to go .. I'm sorry I just can't be doing with all that tinsel and turkey crapola .. let's just go straight from the end of November to the start of a new year on January 1st ..

June is always a time for Graduations and Weddings UGH too many of that going on I'm with you June is out :) And Janary is always a bad time for our family because my hubby is laid off every year after Christmas and we go broke until they are called back to work. ( he works for the contruction company that make new roads and highways) Oh I'll keep January the first for mssnow as it's her Birthday on that day and the rest of January is out for me. So where's that petition :)

I have my birthday in June as well (on the 8th hint hint) so I was going to say could it stay please. I did have lots of people wish me a 'happy birthday' and had a good time but being 21 again was a bit depressing. So perhaps it would be ok then I would not have to get any older. Also it has the longest day in it so that means we start on the slippery slope towards winter - boo hoo. So if we abandoned it could we stay in Summer?
Hope things start going better for you. I am trying the positive thinking and it seems to be working slowly. The great people on MyLot have really helped too.
