how can you do,if the marry you want but not ratified by parents

if you want to marry to ur lover..but parens didnot ratify .how can you do ..stick to the happiness of yourself or on the parent's opinion

This is something I would have to think long abnd hard about before I jumped into it to fast.I would make sure I really love this person and that he or she loves me before I made it.

Part of being an adult is making your own decisions. And you are the one who lives with who you marry, not them. I'd go for it, and the parents would have to learn to deal. If every major decision you make has to be ratified by your parents, how can you ever make decisions when they are not there?

For us chinese, that is a thing of the past , but we also consider that we can marry our own kind. Kinda stupid isn't it? im 33 and yet no wife. Im just not ready to tie the not especially if some traditions are compromised.
