I made a post about babylegs awhile back and everyone said they were really girly. LOL. But I decided to get a couple of pairs anyways since his rug burn was so bad from crawling. Check out my boy! PS he wasn't going to drink out of the bottle thats in the backround, heehee.

They kind of look like flames on them. That makes them very masculine in my eyes. Hahahaha!!!

Those are pretty darn cute! He doesn't look anything like a girl. I would have never thought about these in a million years I used to feel so bad for my little oens their legs would all red and dried out. This is a brillant idea.

Oh that is such a cute picture. My son has a sweatshirt that has the same flames on them. They definitely don't look girly.

I don't think they are girly at all. I wish I had known about them when my babys were little. I used to feel sorry for them with the rug burn on their little legs. YOU WERE RIGHT ON THIS ONE, LOL!

I think it is a great idea. Maybe you could make light cotton ones for warm weather from the sleeves of long sleeved knit shirts that are hand-me-downs or from a thrift store. He could have "Yipes, Stripes!"

hehehe, that's cute. they sell stripe ones. I have never made an article of clothing, I am not crafty. I buy lots of handmade items though. The babylegs were $12, not extremely expensive, but alot for something that is dragging all over my carpet. But it's saving his knees! They are pretty lightweight!

I don't know that you'd have to do much more than cut off the sleeve. Knit shirts have the knit cuffs. Then the sleeve might be snug enough to stay up on his thighs. If not, a bit of elastic is not big deal.

Aww...they're adorable! I think I'll have to get some. Although I'll probably have to be crafty about it since Daddy majorly blew the budget again (although it wasn't all his fault this time!) I don't see anything girly about them. Maybe it's the flames but I probably wouldn't put that particular pair on a baby girl so I'd say it's just right for a boy. But then again I'm also the one that lets my 4 year old boy wear as much pink as he wants to so I'm pretty lax about what boys and gils are "supposed" to wear.

i'm glad you went for them. i mean especially if it's more for just around the house, then who cares, it's not like he's crawling on the gross grocery store floors for everyone to see!! AND you didn't order ones with butterflies or anything like that on them! i like the flames! hope his poor lil rug burns stop now!! what a cutie he is!!! glad you found something that will work.
