Do you know where I can buy new or used DVD's online for a few dollars each? We're trying to find some affordable children's and family DVDs for our daughter. And, maybe something for family movie night, too. Please help.

Well, I always get my movies for FREE from www.limewire.com It is a site where you can download it and then download as many movies of music you want. I don't even buy movies anymore, I just download them for free. I suggest you try this site. It is great, trust me. I love it.

A few places I comparison shop are, www.deepdiscountdvd.com, ebay and used DVD's on amazon. Actually I think netflix also sells used DVDs for low prices. With a little price shopping I think you will be able to find some good movies for your kids and family at an affordable price.

i belong to both disneydvd club and columbia house dvd club. admittingly disney isn't really much cheaper than buying stuff in the stores. however, columbia house is nice. they pretty much always have deals where you can get one movie for full price (anywhere from 19.95 - 21.95 on average) and all other dvd's are 60% off. Not to mention they have extra sales too. I mean.. think about it. If a dvd is 9.95 to begin with (as a lot of older movies are...and kids movies/family dvd's) and you get 60% off. that's pretty cheap. shipping and handle is killer... but sometimes they have sales with free shipping! when you join you get a bunch of dvd's real cheap. the requirement is that you have to buy I think 6 dvd's at regular price within two years. Who can't do that? and if you do it online you can pay attention to director's selections and if you don't want it easily deny it so you don't get movies you don't want to pay for.

I either buy my dvd's from Ebay or Netflix because I get them at good prices. Ebay you can find all the old classics like Cinderella and Beauty & the beast and alot of the other Disney movies at affordable prices. Netflix is good too because they have every dvd possible to buy at really good prices oh and you can also rent from Netflix and they deliver really fast without shipping charges.
