What does she like? Try to come up with theme ideas around her interests.

I agree. by adding things that she likes she will enjoy it. give her favorite flowers as well, as decorations and stuff.

You could make up pictures of her over the years and place them around as decorations for the party. If you know some of her friends, have them write something they admire about her and use these as decorations also. Make sure to have cameras on the tables if it is a big party so ppl can take pictures of it the way they want to. Then you can collect the cameras for developing & make a photo album of it for her after the facts.
