I dont care too much. I use tap water for the daily activities including cooking. But in our family we drink more mineral water. There are some mineral terms in Sofia and arround, so my fathers goes and carries water from them. We dont buy water from the store.

in my country it's not advisable to drink straight from the tap. best practice is to boil the water first and then drink it. at home, we have a water filter, but still we do not drink directly. we will always boil the water first before drinking. when i was studying in the UK few years ago, i did drink from the tap though;)

A lot of these "Spring Waters" that are sold in bottles are actually only tap water. Maybe they filter them but the chlorine dissipates in the bottles and bacteria can grow in them and make you sick. Plus the plastic battles usually gets thrown out which goes into the landfills. There are certain standards that the water companies have to abide by to stay in business but the bottled water does not have to confirm to these standards.
