Hi there! I am also vegetarian, but since I didn't taste any meat or chicken since birth I didn't find it hard to be used to all vegetables and no meat. There are lots of meat substitutes aside from tofu but we usually use tofu since it has less processing to undergo. As much as possible, we try to use food that are natural and not processed. not everyone likes tofu, but you can make some good vegan/vegetarian food using things like black eye beans, lentils, red kidney beans, pasta, rice, potatos. then theres also quorn, bean curd, and different vegetables for salads, you can make burgers, stuffed mushrooms, baked potatos, pastas with sauces, bolognese sauce, vegetarian sausages, pies, and pastry dishes with different flours or different potato dishes. you can also get substitute cheeses, use yoghurts but not soya it depends where you shop some shops have mainly vegetarian substitutes for meat eaters
