A latest edition is putin's Russia really 'rising?. Russian President Vladimir Putin, declared in his recent state of the nation address that Russia will have a new president next year. The Presidential polls are to be held in March 2008.

Putin's Russia is on the rise as far as crude oil and gas sales are concerned. They are selling their major resources to the limit, but the majority of the russian people still live in poverty!
