Have you ever taken college or school courses online? I'm thinking about getting my bachelors degree throough one of the online universities.
But, I'm procrastinating, because I'm not sure if the experience is right for me.
I'd love to hear from someone who has had experience with taking online courses. Was it easy to take the courses? Was the experience similar to traditional college or better?

I had my oldest son, while I was still in college, and I would take all the online classes that I possibly could, as this made it so much easier to fit my schedule. On average, I have had one online class per semester, and I really think it was a great experience.
I do think that I would miss the personal interaction with teachers and students, if I took an entire degree online.
I would not really say that online classes are easier, some of them were, and some of them definitely were not.
The pros of online classes are:
- Flexibility
- Ability to work from home
- You can do your coursework and participate directly when your kids are a sleep.
The cons:
- No face to face interaction with a professor
- No face to face interaction with students
- You need to be confident with writing, as online classes are based around writing to a much greater degree than in class classes.
No student interaction

I've taken a few online classes and for me personally it did not work. I like the face to face experience much better and it was nice to have the instructor right there to ask questions. It may depend on the type of class you are planning on taking as well. I did better in a management class where concepts were straightforward than I did in an accounting class where I had a lot of questions but no one I could ask right there.
