Sending back Paris Hilton to Jail again (June 8, 2007): Is it sufficient proof to convince that American Justice system is well oiled, well administered, unbiased and equal to all? Or is it just a case of personal differences between a city sheriff and city judge? Lawyers helpless?

i know for a fact when you go in front of a judge with a high profile lawyet who is a popular name in the court rooom he is treated with much more respect.. i walk in and they put the lawyer and me ahead of the line..one line with no lawyer is very long...but there is a sign for "lawyers with clients" and the clerk escort you in front of the judge..and they exchange small talk..judge calls lawyer by first name smiling and then ask what can I do for your Mr? and the lawyer will say in a few words my case..judge listen with most interest and in most case goes along with what the lawyer suggest..justice is served but if you go in alone or with a court appoionted lawyer..you face an angry judge or a judge who is bored? then you will be treated far differently..this is the way of criminal justice..money rules as judges are human ...but what the lawyer told me that was VERY interesting..if a lawyer goes in front of judge with a crime commited..if he is the defendant the same judge will be very harsh on this lawyer as he does not want to show partiality...or bias..

no it is not. IF our justice system was unbiased and equal to all, she never would have been released in the first place. fortunatly in this instance the "problem" was fixed..she went back where she belongs. because she is such a high profile person everything that is happening to her is high profile too. no part of her punishment is cruel or unfair (as she and her attorney claim) in fact..ANYBODY else (at least those without her fame and money) would never even have the option of Home Detention with ankle bracelet. nobody else would have their very own cell. nobody else would be able to have their personal pyschologist come in. blah blah blah..the list goes on im sure. IF the judge had NOT put her back in jail, a VAST majority of the country would have seen it has proof positive that our justice system is a load of crap. the judge is trying to prevent that, and prove that everybody is equal..and will be punished equally.

The paris Hilton incident removes all doubt with me for sure that there is no such thing as equal justice in the eyes of the law criminal law or any other type law it is always a loop hole to be find and use for the rich the make the laws morally and legislatively I compare the Paris Hilton incident to Lizzy Borden if you have money and connections you can tip the scales of justice in your favor even if you are on video tape the sheriff who let her out knew he did not have that kind of authority to approve her release for a medical condition of claustrophobia if that was the case it would have been better for a doctor to annouce what the condition was before release how many people has had that condition and excused from jail anywhere at any time in this country that shrieff should have been jailed and criminally prosecute for this the justice system sends out damaging signals to people that if I got money or power celebrity satus I should be treated no less than Paris Hilton on the opposite side of the coin how do the system think that played well to the people who were in that same jail at that particular time emotions running high with them that Paris Hilton is in Jail with them for x amount of days and the next she is being released compared to lizzy borden crime and punishment was to hanged in public no exception and the people would come out and buy their pop corn and sodas and cotton candy and watch the hanging instead the legal team that done the investigation of the crime and lawyers come up with a defense of tempoary insane and there would be no hanging conclusion to the response of the people was we see and understand now that if you are poor you get hanged but if you are rich you dont get hanged so loop holes are for the rich that is why they are never eliminated if they are no loop holes for the incident one will be made just as the insanity defense was born it was revise after the John Hinckley and the passing of the Brady Bill everyone is not read their rights when arrested if it is brought to the attention of the legal system it is overlooked as a minor technocality unless you are rich again loop holes of the justice system are there to cater and serve the ones that qualify.

So nice of you, to have taken such serious, sincere interest on this neglected subject because it has no glamor.
