Are you embarrassed of your baby pictures?

Imagine bringing your new friend or new girlfriend/ boyfriend home for the first time, and someone in your family has the bright idea of showing them pictures of you as a baby. Would you be so embarrassed and not want them to see it, or would be cool with it, and not mind sharing them and laughing.
We've all got pretty much the same classic baby pictures, the birthday baby picture, the naked baby picture. Personally I think all babies are cute and there's no reason to be embarrassed or ashamed to show it to people.
I think guys are more embarrassed by this than girls, I may be wrong.
I don't mind sharing my baby pictures with anyone, in fact it's really cute and I don't have any inhibitions about it.
And for all you people out there who are embarrassed, well, I dare you to share them with me. Just for fun. Let's see if you can do it...
Here's mine, it's not actually a baby picture, I'm a toddler here, but it's the only one I had in my PC, so there you go...

I'm not exactly the kind of person who likes thier picture taken, never have really even when I was a kid, but I think the psychology behind that is I wanted to hide myself from the world because of the way my supposed father treated me.
It's sad really though, because my partner (if I ever have one again) will never see any photos of me as a child as my father burnt them all (and many personal documents including my birth certificate) as an act of spite when mom left him about 11 years ago.

I look at it this way...it could have been a lot worse, he may have taken the photos of me, but he cannot take the good memories (of the ones I can remember) and that is all that counts.

oh,i am proud to show my baby pictures to people...it is because i was so cute when i was still a baby. hehe. i wonder why i turned to look like this now... hmmm.
anyway, i am just embarrassed to show others my naked baby pictures. even if i were just a baby back then, i don't feel comfortable seeing me naked. so, i keep them in a place where noone else can find it.
i haven't scanned any baby pics of mine yet. but here's a pic of a kid and posed with. i looked like her when i was still younger... a little fat, with a fair complexion... and with all the bangs... yeah, right. hehe..

yup. i mostly look like that when i was a little girl. and i love that haircut. hihi.
my mom and dad tell me all the time that there were times when i do cry because someone found me cute and pinched me. hehe. but that was long time ago. nobody's pinching me now. i guess, i should put back that bangs again. anne

The same used to happen with my sister I told you about, that people would stop in the streets to look at her, no one ever pinched her, but they used to give her candy and even money because they found her so cute.. I guess I'll give my kids the same hair cut, when I have any. It seems to really work, ha ha.

If you looked anything like that girl, then you must have been so cute!
I love that haircut, I remember one of my sisters used to have the exact same and she looked like that too. She was the cutest of all of us..

I don't know... running away, being scared of what people will see when you're a child. I used to get upset about that when I would bring my home. She showed everyone of my dates.. "oh he's so cute!" I should have been really embarrassed, but I wasn't.

No I wouldn't be embarrassed at all! I love my baby pictures and they are really precious. I remember because my family was poor when I was a baby and my parents couldn't take many pictures of me, still they tried. I don't have very many on hand but when I look at them every time, that put a smile on my face. When my friends come over to my place, I show them my baby pictures too and we would laugh so hard because we are around the same age, and we have "common experiences", then we would start discussing what we did in our childhood and that usually brings some really good laugh.

Thanks for the best response! What a surprise to get in the morning (I just woke up). Yes I think you could upload pictures to your profile. It would be an interesting thing to do but since I have my baby in hard copies, I have to find time to scan them and upload them. I will try and work on that when I have time. *smiles* Happy days!

My beloved mom loves showing our family picture including butt naked baby picture of me, my sisters and brother. But we don't mind at all. We know that she proud of us and want to share her happiness to others. Sometimes, they do tease us, but hey....everybody butt naked when they were baby, so it wasn't that bad and most of the time we just laugh against their jokes.

yes!! i get embarassed when someone see my baby pictures.. coz im the only baby u'll find not cute.. i look like a boy.. hahah, that's why my mom put a head band and let me wear dress so everyone would recognize that i'm a girl.. my most embarassing photo was maybe im 4 years old and i'm naked.. and i hate when my mom show it to all of my friends. and she's planning to show it to my boyfriend soon... tsk!

I don't have any way to scan my baby pictures into the computer but I think I was a fairly cute baby. There are many formal portraits as well as family snapshots and I'm not embarassed of them.. I always had a devilish glint in my eye, or looked really serious, so I think they are endearing, if anything. You may look at my new great niece in my discussions, we look more aloke than her father, who is my nephew, and I do.

Well i won't feel embarrrased if someone sees my naked baby photo or as a toddler,we were very small at that time and we look cute when we are baby,we admire ourselves...
But i would feel embarrased if there is a photo of mine of 7-8 in which i am naked to show to people.i wouldn't show that pic even to my friends.

I think I may feel a bit embarrassed if my parents do that when I bring someone new. But now I'm married and I love my husband so much, but I will still feel a bit uncomfortable if my childhood photos are shown to him. But I guess baby photos are not so embarrassing, for they are not so bad, but my childhood photos always show my stupidity.

It can be a little embarrassing if people see baby pictures of you (especially if you're in your birthday suit in them or getting potty-trained or whatever) but it's only embarrassing in a cute little funny way, not like humiliating or anything.
Babies are adorable, whether they're really conventionally cute like the quintessential Gerber baby or even if they're kinda funky looking. Myself when I was a baby was no exception.
Besides, looking at baby pictures usually makes people laugh and be happy and silly and enjoy themselves. So, that is always a good thing. =)

I dont really have a lot of my baby pictures, But when some of guests, friends like to have a look at my available pictures,.. I feel sharing and enjoy the lighter moments of it.. Thats take a trip down the memory lane..

i love my baby pics! i don't find any reason why i should be embarrassed by them. i really find it sweet to see one of my baby pics in my dad's wallet. everytime i see him open his wallet and i see my pic, i feel a certain level of pride and more love for my father.
when my friends see my baby pix, they just smile and say, "you should have remained a baby" lol!

i dont think id ever be embarrassed with my baby pics because i think i look much better when i was younger. though i had one pic that i had no underwear, my mom hid it so people wont see it. its common here in our country that the most favored people are those who are fair skinned. well i was once fair skinned until i knew how to walk and go to my neighbors houses. i got exposed to the sun and now i have darkened. hehehehe.
but when some people saw my baby pic, they never expected it was me. coz i look so different now.
i cant post my baby pictures now coz i have to look for them and scan them. hehehehe
