To have your house professionally cleaned from top to bottom?
I'm sort of thinking I'd like to splurge on a maid service to get my house in shape since it's an utter disaster but I'm not sure what a reasonable price to have it done is.

if it's top to bottom maybe around $ 1000 or more. the size of the house and how fast you want it done I guess that's what matters to them. I know someone who does this, it's her business, but since she does it herself no helper, she can charge lower.

Hey my friend,
There's so much crime in the world today that would make me leary about having a stranger in my house. I'm not trying to be negative but I want to be realistic. Did you ever think that the maid service could really scope things out in your house and come back to rip you off at a later date. Not saying this would happen to you but it does happen. If you do decide to hire a maid service, check them out thouroghly
