Has anyone on here every sold a collection or part of a collection?

I'm seriously considering selling my collection or at least parts of it...there is a store by me that will do some appraisal, but other than that I know nothing of how to go about selling them and making sure I'm not getting a bad deal. Any suggestions?

I haven't sold any stamps from my collection yet.
Before you sell your stamps, make sure you know the right price! Try searching price lists on the Internet or something...I know that albums with stamp evaluation are very expensive to buy so I guess the net is the best place to get a correct estimation of your collection.
