I have found the biggest part of doing laundry is trying to get the stains out of the clothing . I have thrown so many nice things away because I was unable to get the stains out . Do you have any tips on how you get stains out ? What do you do and how well does it work ? The only tip I have come across that I find works really well is if you are trying to get ink out of your clothing all you have to do is spray it with hairspray and then wash the item . You will see the hairspray start to work almost immediately .

Spray and Wash works the best for me on everything. I spray it and then just wash my clothes. Depending on how long the stain was there, I may have to wash it twice.

The Tide pen is excellent at getting out stains. It says you can't use it on your jeans, but I did and it worked without damaging the material. Also, Grease Lightning is a product my whole family uses. The stain can sit for days, but when you spray Grease Lightning, it comes out just fine.

The most important tip I have is to make sure the stain is pre-treated before washing and drying. Some things take a couple washes to rid the stain, but once it hits the drier it seems almost impossible to remove.
