what are your favorite candle scents? how about your least favorites? I like citrus smells and spices (cinnamon, bayberry etc) do not care much for the sweet smells, they make me feel sicky. But my absolute favorite candle scent is natural Bees Wax.

I don't really burn candles. I use tea light candles (those plain white ones) some of the time but that's that. Buying those candles with scents looks real expensive for me. Since we have the natural light and the electric lights, candles are not that necessarily. If I want the scent, I normally go for incense or even oil. Besides, a naked candle burning can be really dangerous. I wouldn't want the place catching fire in such a freak accident. Why would you burn these candles anyway?

I actually have a small coffee warmer (mini hot plate) that I put my candles on to "burn." I make sure they are in a glass jar or mug before I turn on the warmer ( I don't want melted wax all over.) I still get the scent without the danger of fire. Very helpful with 3 little kids running around.

caught me, I do not actually burn the scented candles - I put the small wafer ones in my dresser to scent my clothing :) but candles do help to rid the air of impurities, maybe carrying away the odors on the smoke as it rises? I don't know how that works, but it is healthier than spraying chemicals in the air to freshen it. I do burn candles but not the artificial scented ones...I burn the beeswax candles for religious observances. :)

Scent my clothings? I have also understood that this is not too wise... better the dab the perfume on your body that "stain" the clothes this way... And I am not sure about the getting rid of impurities in the air part... I really don't think so. :P Have you tried bamboo charcoal? It is going to be the new rave in town. Putting some will cleanse the air. I would love to get my hands on them but the ones selling are unfortunately out of my measly budget.

It is different at different times of the year. At Christmas, every year I get the mulberry, and there is another one that is three layers and as the candle burns it smells different. I also really like vanilla and coffee scented candles, but the very best smell, I think, is after you blow the candle out and there is that lingering hot wax smell. I love it!

oh I love that too! especially on 100% beeswax, it smells so clean and pure, unlike parafin. it has a scent of honey and tea sort of.

my 5 year old is blue crazy...everything has to be blue, and she loves it - for no other reason than it is blue. She has had it as her favorite color ever since she was able to express a preference at about age 2. I had never seen anyone have such a magnetism towards a color at such a young age, obviously not influenced by other's opinions.

I love love love candles!! My favorite scent is Shiraz. It's by Yankee Candle and it smells just like grapes. I love any kind of fruity scent. Apple, strawberry, blueberry, fresh peach. Yankee Candle has a scent called Fruit Smoothie. I really like that one but can't always find it in the stores. My least favorite scents are vanilla, coffee, anything really strong.

I personally like fresh linen or vanilla. I don't care for the sweet smells either. I have bought melon on occasion, it smells pretty good. I don't care for the pines scent either. Give me a good old fashioned, fresh Christmas tree for that smell !!

My favorite candle scents would be cinnamon, strawberry, apples, french vanilla, and there are a few more but that will get me going. My least favorite are blackberry, lemon, tangerine/mandarian and I guess that's it. I can't really think of anything else at this point.

My favorite candle scent is Sage and Citrus from Yankee Candle. It isn't too strong a scent. Floral scents are too heavy for me. THey give me a headache. I do enjoy berry scents.

I love a candle scent that is a fresh, clean smell. My absolute favorite is 'Ocean Water' by Yankee Candle. I also like 'Splash of Rain' by Yankee Candle. During the winter months I like balsam and cedar smells. I cannot stand fruity and/or sweet smells.

I found some really unusual candle scents not too long ago. It was by a local crafter (well, when I was living local to her!) She had angle food cake, wood, sweet potato, and homemade bread scents. I remember burning the angle food cake one and my husband got really excited... he thought I was making him a cake! It really did smell like the real thing. I wonder how she did that?

I think my favorite candle scent is sandalwood, I just love that deep earthy smell. My least favorite is the flowery smells that are so sweet they make me sick to my stomach. I found this new scent at Walmart and I just love it too, I bought to candles to display in my living room but I threw away the stickers on the bottom of the candles and now I have no idea what the scent is but it is fantastic! LOL

My favourite is vanilla. I was told that Cinnamon Buns candle stimulates the male libido so I have one of those in my bedroom along with a couple of vanilla candles. Other scents I like are mild aromas like ocean mist.
