What is your earliest memory?

How old were you and what do you remember?
I vaguely remember my mom coming home from the hospital with my middle sister. I was almost two years old. I just remember standing at the door and seeing my mom and dad pull up in the car and my mom was holding my sister.
I have several other memories from when I was 2, nothing extremely significant. Once my mom was cooking and the smoke detector went off because she burned the beans she was cooking. I remember the smoke and the loud alarm.

My earliest memory was of my grandpa. I would sit at his lap at the dinner table. I believe I was about 4 or 5 years old. Nobody could wake Grampa when he came home from work and sat in his recliner. They would send me to wake him when dinner was ready. He would grabe me and put me on his knee and put his Fedora on my head.
