E. coli is not just on your lettuce, spinach, etc. You can get E.coli from the water and sand on the beach. As a result, some beaches that have high levels of it are closing during the summer.

The picture says New Year's Day. Is it any better during other days?

There's probably worse types of bacteria than e coli in the water. On the beaches around here, birds are always pooping in the sand, and probably in the water. I try not to think about it, but I know it's there.

That's right! Try not to think about it. Lock your doors, close the curtains and ask someone to slide food under your door once in a while..perhaps pancakes...lol...it's coming to that.

I love the beach, but it is not the same anymore. Everything is changing.
