I think Jeremie Aliadiere never got a real chance in the Arsenal team and the little that I have seen from him, he does seem to belong to the second tier of clubs like Boro. So I think this is win-win deal for player and club. Your opinions on this deal!! Cheers! Ram

no doubt a good deal for arsenal, considering the player's age, there are other younger but better player such as Nicklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela (a very interesting prospect if u guys got play Football Manager), whereas boro is juz short of striker after the departure of viduka to newcastle, aliadiere i think got potential but his finishing really let me down sometimes, this guy got skill but juz couldnt score goals on a regular like van persie, so hope him flourish in boro, good luck

Yep. But, if Boro are expecting Aliadere to replace Viduka as their top scorer, they are asking a lot of the youngster. I have not seen him score fluently till now. Cheers! Ram

His situation reminds me of Jermaine Pennant.

I agree but Pennant has finally landed up in Liverpool and beginning to gel a bit with Crouch and I think the best of him can be seen in the next couple of seasons if Crouch stays put at Liverpool. Cheers! Ram

I think when i first saw Jeremie play for Arsenal, I thought my god, this player could be like Henry. I saw some of his goals especially in the Carling Cup when he did a amazing run and scored a typical Henry goal. But i think injuries have got the better of him. He was Arsenal's 2nd longest player under Arsene Wenger and he is only 24. It will be sad to see him go now because he has got potential and he is at the right age to do well. Good luck to him.

I had the same feeling everytime I saw him, but at the end of the day, he just did not have enough goals to show for his efforts. I have a sneaking feeling that Arsene was not entirely convinced with him and that is why he did not get the consistent amount of chances in the first team. Cheers! Ram

He had a few chances. He failed to even show up in Scotland! I think he has never really settled in to life in the Premiership or in the UK. Good luck to him though!
