Summer, being able to get outside, enjoying the beach, camping and spending extra time with the kids while they are out of school.

My favourite season is spring. Mostly the cold weather has gone but summer has not yet arrived. The trees are starting to get new shoots and the lawn is once again green. :)

Summer has hit us here with a vengeance, as we have already had several really hot days. Plus there are already some very large bush fires in several states, which is a bit of a worry for all concerned. Luckily we are not near them, although the smoke was carried hundreds of kms by the wind yesterday.

I would have to say I love summer. I know its hot but I love it. I would rather be be hot and try to cool down then be cold and try to warm up. I love summer. You have so much more freedom. In the winter, you are stuck inside watching TV. At least in the summer we get to go camping, go swimming, have BBQ's outside, and spend the days at the beach.
